Description:

I love autumn. Apple cider, pumpkins, cooler weather and of course the beautiful colors of the leaves. Create one postcard incorporating the colors of autumn.

-You can use any media that you like.

-Standard size is 4" x 6" inches but can be larger if you prefer. Larger may require additional postage.

-Please use a sturdy backing such as a piece of a cereal box.

-All postcards must be mailed naked unless there are elements that may come off during the postal process

Does taking a photo and making a postcard out of it count, too, or would that be too lame?

It probably wouldn't make for the best postcard, but you could use it as the background and add to it.

I've made 100s of postcards from my own "unaltered" photos and I haven't had a disappointed swapper yet. I would enjoy seeing the "natural" colors of fall from around the world. I was about to join, but now, because of your @bbsporty response to @pahasiga I'm not sure I should. ???? Please clarify because "any media" includes photography. Thanks!

Having done a search online, I see that there is quite a bit of controversy regarding whether photography is actually "art". It is very much a subjective thing. Having said that, I also believe that the swap host always has the final say.

I am not a photographer but am willing to host a swap for a PC made using our own photograph. (";)
