Description:

Oh my goodness, I have a bunch of well-loved and torn children's books and I hate to throw them out. Do you too? Let's make something pretty!

Create TWO mailing envelopes for your partner. The images should be evident on the outside of the envelope. You may line the interior if you choose, but it is not required.

Create TWO envelopes for your partner, envelope style senders' choice. Envelopes should mail a variety of items.

1- 4x6 for postcards

1- 5x7

1- A2 envelope (4 3/8 x 5 3/4 inches)

1- #10 envelope (4 1/8 x 9 1/2) business envelope

Search your book stash to find pictures you want to use. You may create both envelopes from the same book or different books, use any book in your stash.

Tell your partner the name of the book and short description of the story (3-4 sentences.). Only discuss one story, if you used more than one book.

For one of the envelopes, create a simple notecard for your partner. (Your partner will receive 1 envelope and notecard. Think: folding cardstock in half and gluing a picture to create a notecard.)

Write a short note to your partner on a separate paper or card.

Recap:

  • TWO mailable envelopes (only 2 for this swap to reduce price for international shipping)

  • sender's choice for envelope styles

  • create a simple notecard

  • bookpage should be sturdy enough to mail

  • write a note to partner and provide title and description of one book

  • mail on time

  • include swap info

Newbies and International friends welcome. Thanks for reading! Have a great day.
