Here Ye, Here Ye, Our Toy shoppe is celebrating a year of opening in Amberleigh village, and a celebration is in order. Its proprietors Miss Emmeline and her mother, have a proposal for our community for which to participate. Imagine creating a vignette with a selection of miniatures & dollhouse furniture and placing them in a scene for your fellow villagers to view during Christmastide. Please consider joining together and making your own vignette scene and share with your neighbours. In doing so, you help us celebrate the anniversary of our very own Toy Shoppe. Yours in service, Mr. Launcelot W. Penn
As Mr Penn describes, our Toy shop owner, @Dan ~ Danielle, has made a marvelous suggestion for this swap, for us all to participate. In Danielle's words - Thank you Danielle for these descriptive suggestions. Georgettes, what ever your mini passion, and what ever scale in miniature you work or collect in, be it 1:6 Barbie scale; 8 inch French Minionette porcelain fashion dolls; 1:12 scale dollshouse miniatures; 4 inch teddy bears; or 1:24 small scale or smaller. Gather together your collectables, and lets have some seasonal fun to share with one another. THE SWAP: Gather together a themed collection of your miniature items, be they an overstuffed trunk with dolls clothes strewn over a bed; or a basket of vegetables you have hand crafted or have you made a garden scene?; or do you have nursery items? perhaps you fancy a table setting in a dining room or prepared foods for a kitchen bench? Do you work in polymer clay... think of the possibilities... Perhaps you are a budding seamstress, and created your own quilts or embroidered furnishings. Won't you consider joining us in this lovely simple swap, and a delight for us to play with our minis? With this swap we hopefully wish to encourage our lurkers who are tucked away at peace in their homes across the atlas... we would love to have you join with us.... share your collection or dollshouse miniatures with us for some festive fun. As always, if any queries please don't hesitate to ask. Jane, Anna, & Nickalli | |
