The theme for this month is JULY! (Canada Day, Independence Day, Bastille Day, National IceCream Month, and National Junk Food Day) Search through your stash and find a sheet of July vibes one-sided paper. Write a handwritten or typed personal letter to your partner.

Seal the letter (think a sticker, wax seal, or a bit of washi tape).

Respond to three of the following prompts.

WRITING PROMPTS:

1. Local events, parades or festivals – either in your hometown or state.

2. Life update – what’s happened recently, moving house, family wedding, vacation, new pet, visited with a friend, and so on.

3. What is on the menu for your 4th of July BBQ?

4. Share a summer memory.

5. What is your dream 4th of July celebration?

6. Which three songs remind you of summer?

7. Write about a historical museum or a national monument you visited?

8. Do you have any summer traditions?

9. What is your favorite way to keep cool during the summer?

10. Share a book you read: provide the title, author and brief description.

Answer the following questions:

• Visit the Statue of Liberty or Mount Rushmore?

• Rain on the Fourth of July or on Halloween?

• Your birthday on the 4th of July or Halloween?
